We support Barzulla family's demand on their son's mortal remains :JRL | KNO

Srinagar July 02, 2018 (KNO) : Joint Resistance Leaders (JRL), Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Dr. Mohammad Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik in a statement expressed their grave concern over the increasing highhandedness and employing SOG personnel as an aggressive and repressive measure against peaceful ,unarmed civilians including pro-freedom leadership and activists.

Condemning the nocturnal police raids , ransaking properties and atrocities perpetrated against civilians and political activists engaged in peaceful political activities, saying the perusal for Right to Self-Determination is our birth right. JRL decrying the conduct of authorities as highly unfortunate and unacceptable ,said the Indian authorities are hell bent to curb and strangulate the genuine aspirations and political voice for right to self-determination. Purely political and peaceful movement as recognized in UN charter is being negated and denied with muscular policy and by resorting to military might , JRL added .

Expressing deep anguish over the reports pouring in , JRL said that military actions with vengeance are repeatedly utilized to create a frightful atmosphere in nook and corner of state . JRL hailing the commitment, persistence and unshakable resolve of people in occupied jammu kashmir, said that people are facing a big military power suffering from arrogance and utilizing its haughty approach, however their urge to resolve Kashmir has touched the pinnacle and freedom movement emerged as invincible.

JRL whemently supported the families of martyrs for returning the mortal remains for burial as per religious rituals. Paying rich tributes to slain youth Mudasir Ahmad Wani ( Barzalla) and Nisar Ahmad Bhat ( Shangus) ,JRL said that the grieved families are anxiously waiting to receive their dead bodies for last glimpse. Commenting over the haughty and inhuman approach of police authorities , the JRL said that “this brazen denial has exposed the myth about All Out Operations” as the people in state believe that their beloved ones are killed in forces custody.

Commenting over continuous and unending CASO ,the JRL termed it revengeful tactics against civilians and added it is no more an act of bravery ,however the forces are being awarded and rewarded with medals and citations for killing ,maiming and humiliating. . JRL in their fervent appeal to world community and UNO and insisted to use their good office and impress upon India to shun its military and egoistic approach against innocent civilians and put an immediate halt human rights abuses and atrocities perpetrated by Indian forces .

JRL also demanded unbiased intervention of UN to resolve the long pending issue in the larger interest of peaceful and prosperous sub-continent.
